The curriculum

The child in a Montessori environment is exposed to the four traditional areas of education: practical life (care of self and environment), sensorial, language and mathematics. Art, yoga, music, science, geography and Spanish are also an integral part of the classroom.

The sessions

Consistency is a very important part of the program.  We accept children for three, four or five day a week sessions.  There is no morning or afternoon daycare.

Morning Session 9:00 a.m. – Noon
Afternoon Session 12:45 p.m. - 3:45 p.m.
Pre-Kindergarten Session* 9:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.

*To enroll in this session the child must be 4 1/2 or 5 years of age and with teacher recommendation.

Lunch bunch

For an additional fee, children may bring a nutritious bag lunch from 12:00 to 12:35 Monday through Thursday and eat with their classmates.

Enrollment requirements

Children in our class range in age from 33 months (31 months with readiness assessment) to 6 years. Parents must complete all forms and submit a down payment of the first month’s tuition, before the child is officially enrolled. Along with this, there will be summer orientation days for the new student before regular classes begin.
