The Spanish language is infused throughout the children's day and also throughout the classroom.
At Hopkins Montessori School language learning is very important! We have a very diverse community and we love learning about other languages, cultures, and celebrations. Lead teachers at Hopkins Montessori School speak Spanish.
We read many Spanish books as well as sing Spanish songs daily, you may hear your child singing “Cabeza, hombros, rodillas, pies, rodillas, pies…” Or “Head, shoulders, knees, and toes.” As the children feel more confident in the classroom many of the presentations can also be given in Spanish for an added challenge.
